WHY KPOP MUSIC SHOW WINS IMPORTANT THREAD;
Disclaimer: This is base on my personal knowledge since I started to join kpop even ASTRO is not yet a group. If you find any misinformation or mistake on this thread I'm open for discussion! But here's my POV~
Did you all know that WINS are important for kpop artist bec they're getting paid higher than the usual if they win. I have read before that some debut groups are getting paid low since they are all starting and some are nothing (I think it's base on how company is well known)
Someone said that artist/groups are getting paid for less than 500-900 USD every performance in music show. I know someone of you will say "Are you kidding us?That's a lot" ~ NO, I'm not joking. For us individual that's a lot but come to think the expenses that idol are spending
From food, make ups, transportation, salary of the staff working with them and specially the clothes. Did you also know that SOME of those beautiful clothes that you see on your idol while theyre performing on stage is they actually don't own them unless they're from rich company
...OR the clothes is not that expensive but it's suit them. That's why they have a stylist, they are the one who's preparing everything for the performance. They will find a boutique, rent it and let the idols wear it specially those brands that are well known.
If you'll notice in some fancams backstage of your group (like ddoca for ASTRO) while they're eating in waiting room they are really taking care of the clothes that they will not messed up or stain it. Beside from it will not looks good in camera, they also thinking that it is...
...a clothes that their stylist just rented. I know supporting our idols thru streaming or buying album is enough but winning music show we can help idols to get their money value higher~ (Don't get me wrong! I'm not a greedy for money) but it's one way how we can support them.
