Y’all ready for my Stevie Wonder thread?

I’ll begin with “They Won’t Go When I Go”. It’s dramatic and emotional. About ones death and heavenly return. The vocals have so much depth. Perfectly written. A perfect song.

Next, we have “Summer Soft”. Again, perfectly written. On the surface describing the coming & going of seasons, it could be an analogy for something more.

Next, I have “Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away”.

Man, this is really a gospel song to me. It’s a clear testament to faith in God and true belief. And it JAMS.

Now, Stevie has a perfect way of making sad-love songs. Whether unrequited or just too perfect to attain and keep. “Overjoyed” is perfect, tho.

Yet another perfect song. Groovy as fuck and a testament to hoping to get a chance to give the perfect love. “All I Do” is just it.

Can you tell “Songs in the Key of Life” is my favorite Stevie album?
“As” is yet another perfect song.
So beautifully written. A dedication to undying love.
