I am reading a thread on Nextdoor of grown ass adult people throwing absolute tantrums because their housekeepers won't break shelter in place. Multiple people haven't cleaned anything this entire time because they "don't know how".
The post that started it was someone saying their house is disgusting and asking how others "have handled this". One woman says she is just putting her takeout trash in the kitchen and closing the door so the housekeeper can take care of it later.
another woman is mad because her housekeeper said she would have to charge double for the first clean when she comes back since nothing has been cleaned since March. Nextdoor lady feels she is being taken advantage of.
someone else's hot take is that "these women are naturally good cleaners" so the average person cannot be expected to clean their own home and obviously that means that their housekeeper needs to come back.

people are still posting in this thread and i am a glutton for punishment so i keep reading it...today someone said, "i thought this would be a good way to teach my kids responsibility but it's gone on too long and is becoming unfair."
