with that said, i hope i don’t see anyone correcting me on what i heard or read because i cross checked with friends and family before making this heavy decision to comment on this situation.

i grew up with a cousin i hold dear to my heart. my cousin has autism, and ever since we were young, my family and i had to deal with subtle and straightforward ableist wording and actions that degrade my cousin. from that, i have a slight trauma. please don’t correct me on this

i also am aware that i have a large audience, and addressing this issue WILL not bring any good to the fandom. but as someone with a large audience, i don’t think keeping this on the low is right. it goes against what i fought for in real life.
