Koalas are so weird, y'all. They don't even look real.

They sleep up to 23 hours a day. Because so much of their energy is spent digesting their only food source, eucylyptus, which is *toxic*, hence all the work of digestion.

They also make bizarre noises.

Oh heck yeah y'all now we're learning about quokkas!!

Sidenote this PBS documentary is the best thing ever, they made a bunch of fairly realistic spy bots to infiltrate groups of animals (koalas, kangaroos, seals, quokkas etc) and learn more about them.

Oh no one of the real quokkas got into a fight with Quokka Bot and knocked it down and it's having trouble getting up and I laughed so hard the whole unit probably heard me.

Then the real quokka felt bad and offered it some food I just. So much cute.
