Two years ago I was constantly waking up at night with anxiety attacks. I was also very sensitive to negative interactions on line—and constantly attracting them. I eventually scaled back my content creation and contemplated what sort of voice I wanted to be in the world.
When I rebooted back up, I scaled down quite a bit on the biting anti-SJW commentary, and diversified into interviews with the people I had been criticizing. I don’t know if I would have better audience numbers had I persisted down the snarky pundit route,
but I sleep better, and I’ve been establishing deeper connections with the topics I entreat.
