I'm getting such bad shin splints now that I can't even walk. just "powered through" a 4 mile run and I almost feel like I need crutches.

how do you avoid overworking your tibialis anterior and properly stretching it?

currently doing infrared light therapy for inflammation reduction followed by some intense stretching
