The Palestinian question the biggest nationalist issue today. It's also one that everyone is already aware of and therefor the easiest to discuss and explain. It isn't something you get to be neutral on either. "Taking your own side" isn't an option because you have no power.
You're either pro-Zionist, and for the status quo, or anti-Zionist and pro Palestine, BDS etc.
The entire direction of the West has been driven explicitly by Zionism since the late 40s. There is no centrist take out of this paradigm. Support what the system hates.

WNs dislike this because their hatred of Muslims. But that isn't even really the issue here.
Do you want Palestinians in your countries? Or do you want them to return to go home? Which do you want? If you want them gone, you should help them get their homes back.
