the main theme of this era is ‘do you know who you are’ since that’s the sentence that started it all when posters with it popped up all around the world. they also created a generator that warns us when something is about to happen. so i assume everything is created around this.

the lights up music video is people dancing together on a beach with shots of harry / a boy looking around while he’s left on his own on a beach as well. it’s honestly very confusing because there’s no real storyline or maybe there is but we won’t get it until the very end.

this is where adore you was introduced and with it the fictional island of eroda. the music video narrates the story of a boy who ends up leaving his home to explore the world by sailing away.

obviously the videos are connected to one another because the eroda account only has been active when something was related to eroda in the first place and last but not least....

when lights up first came out there were rumours about a director’s cut video and with it came extra pictures and one of them was this of multiple versions of harry in a room. do you know who you are? does the boy from eroda know who he is?

what if the director’s cut never came out for a reason and all the music videos will be put together to end up the fine line era? i might be clowning but not enough to think the lights up music video was meant to be that vague. ignore the typos thank you very much.

i mean fine line itself is what harry described it to be so in this whole scenario lyrics and songs aren’t too relevant but they rather created the whole story to make it more interesting to everyone
