read a rly interesting but ultimately anticlimactic blog post on doll/dollification, and was wondering if anyone could rec an article or something that talks about cyborgs, body mods, plastic surgery, dollification, etc from a trans/feminist lens?

it’s tangentially related to an article I’m working on and it may not make the final cut but i think it would be a really fascinating layer and I wanna explore it a bit in my research but I worry that the intersection is a lil too niche and/or vulnerable to weird sex politics

maybe also obvious and/or too niche but I would LOVE to read something on this subject written with a focus on sex workers and fem queens vs. white women in academia
