A thread of some of my favourite modern / contemporary (inspired) choreography by idols because we don't get enough of it, and that's a real shame!

1. Falling Down - THE8 (SEVENTEEN)

Easily one of the most beautiful choreographies I've seen in kpop. Even if Minghao doesn't have any training in contemporary dance, he is absolutely made for the genre

2. Doodle Diary - THE8 (SEVENTEEN)

His emotions, the lines of his body, his power. I could look at him all day...

3. Goodbye - Taemin

Taemin is such a versatile dancer, graceful and powerful at the same time! In my opinion he's one of the best contemporary dancers in kpop.

4. Lovely - Ten and Winwin (WAYV)

I've talked about this choreo before but I won't ever shut up about it. This is an absolutely perfect duet. Neither of them had ever danced contemporary prior to this, and they made the choreography themselves. True talent

5. Six Flying Dragons - N (Vixx), Stephanie, Cheng Xiao (WJSN), Woosung (Snuper), Yein (Lovelyz), Gayoung (Stellar)

Not enoug people know about this choreo and that is such a shame

6. Deep breath - Kai

Jongin doesn't get many chances to show off his skills in modern and contemporary, and SM is robbing us of that. I will forever be salty.
