I have a question for #pedpc & #swhpn people who are also parents.

When one of our patients die, tell me how you may act differently to your own children when you get home...

...I’ll go first. It’s nothing earth-shattering.

I just look at them. No thoughts. I look deeply into their eyes for a second or two longer than I normally do.

It often feels like an eternity when I take the time to just look.

I’ll be doing that tonight.
