It starts with “Famous” which on itself should be enough. That song gave us rapping Taemin, disillusioned with fame Taemin, but most of all vibrating Taemin.

“Famous” also gave us the best dance practice ever, where all of Taemin’s Japanese dancer shine brightly and he shines the brightest.

Don’t get me even started on “Slave”. Boi, this song and performance gave Shawols heart palpitations, some have not recovered to this day (me, I’m some).

“Tease” should have a warning attached to lyrics. Taemin is master tease, we been knew, but he turned his teasing power up a notch. Also, do you hear his vocals?!? I’m a “It’s You” fanatic and so listen to me when I say this song is vocally the best song of Taemin ever. He’s perfect in every way, from the way he hits them high notes to his ad libs to his sensual voice. FAMOUS ends with the brightest and sweetest song possible. “Colours” tells us how we turn Taemin’s monochrome and bleak reality into world full of wonderful colors and I think it’s beautiful.

To sum it up: don’t sleep on FAMOUS! Japanese album or not, it deserves recognition and love from every Shawol, be it KShawol, JShawol or IShawols.
