alright so here we go, I'm going to start off with I'm no game journo so don't expect my level of writing to be the best but I want to make a thread about the project that was Warhammer 40k: Endless War and more importantly the Warhol Studios discord.
The Tl:dr of it is that it was going to be a crowd funded 40k rts that was going to be based off of fan feed back.

I believe to this day that was the full intention of the poll and the "devs" behind it. there was something there that people wanted to make but i think there's
more to it than that.

With in a hour or so of joining the discord i became a mod because i asked red if he needed some help managing the chaos that was the 40k fandom in a concentrated spot, and the more i stuck around the more red flags i started to see
the first flag was how Red reacted twords people raising concerns about the project to which his first reaction was to tell them to relax and he's not scamming anyone but they're sounding like he took the money and ran. then there was more. A individual brought up old screen caps
next thing I know is that those screen caps where near instantly deleted after some mod debate about if they should've banned the person or not. I came in and said that banning criticism is the worst thing we could've done at that point in time because at this point it could
do because it could reflect back badly on the project and i personally wanted to see it thrive. Now i didn't expect what came after. with in a hour or so Red pops into the staff only chat and made it a point to defend himself to us. Not the people but to the mods
This cap is what sent off my red flags. Red should be calming the people who have concerns and criticisms not to the mods who are already in a tricky spot because we where all just random people who agreed to help. We weren't staff by any means
so i kept digging. I found a comment in the video Red posted but refrained from adding stress to an already stressful situation for him

and it turns out that was indeed confirmed to be red himself later the next day

so we hit a point where I'm trying to dig and see what this whole thing is about. I just want to find out what was legit and what was fake. so I contacted the original poster of the screencaps from another discord. turns out this has been a ongoing thing with red
Now after digging and seeing how early the second day of the discord the project got cancelled I saw how unprofessional red could be

once again by not trying to calm the situation but by saying he doesn't care
and i didn't filter carefully enough, deleting and reposting
Take 2 of the email post where he just let a gw emplyee's email slip
Now apparently red had sunk 7k total into this project. with minimal things to show for it, there where some assets but these where rumored to be dawn of war one assets but i can't confirm nor do i want to put any artists on blast but the fact that he had done all of this with
