#Footballindex Order Book, my 10p

FI is reducing liability to just dividends, they have no obligation to buy your bet in form of shares back although may partially do as market makers
IS is gone, whichever way you dress it effectively you need to find a buyer to sell your bet to
Players prices should change on market buys and listings only
The 2% commission is on buy orders only, if you place a bid 2% lower than market price you effectively buying at a discount, think of it that way, also, the 2% commission applies only on matched orders
A downside I see is locking money in a limbo when a bid is placed, it would lock loads of cash that could be at least partially spent elsewhere
The extra commission and reduced liability puts FI in a strong financial position and enables them to significantly increase dividends
Dividends will become even more important

People tend to be emotional and over complicate things, this is simply an evolution of the platform, it enables you to either buy players at a cheaper price or cash out your bet at a price other users are happy to pay
IS at 20/30% was common with injuries, China rumours etc, you should now see reduced “spreads” due to people betting the other way, if there are no buyers your bet is lost, select players with caution, nobody could take imaginary shares of the next Ravel Morrison at £2+ off you
Ultimately, it’s a business evolution where FI creates an additional stream of income, reduces liability without the obligation to buy bets back and its free to spend your bets on dividends, marketing, development and the likes
In case you hadn’t notice before this is a gambling platform, you are placing bets not investing, if you want to come out on the winning side place those bets accordingly
Ultimately the ability to place bids open up to a world of opportunities, buy shares at a fraction of its value from people wanting to cash out there and then, it’s positive for both parties, one finds a buyer, one buys at a cheaper price
Looking forward to the launch and to get stuck in, for the mains the platform remains unchanged as effectively you can still buy and sell as you do now but there is an additional functionality which should help both when wanting to buy and when selling
Lastly, if you can’t work out 2% of a figure you shouldn’t be on the index, it’s not that complicated, If Mbappe’ costs £10 you can place a bid for £9 and pay 2% commission on those £9 or 18p meaning you pay £9.18 per share instead of £10

Have fun and gamble responsibly
