Winning is a very interesting concept. Especially when you work with a team. It is 10x (In my honest opinion)

Winning means way more as a team. Shell Choral Competition in Igbobi College & Football matches at Oxbridge were the best forms of wins I remember in reflection.
The feeling of defeat is also 10x when you're in a team 😅

I remember us coming 2nd or 3rd in '09 or '10 and we hated it! While they called us up, we just bowed our heads in pain. We were in SS1 and we had 2 more chances to win this before we couldn't compete again.
An All Boys Choir competing with every secondary school with a good choir.
By 2011, when we were going back.

Damnnn!
I can still remember glimpses here and there of what it was like. But we were down to do all that was needed to win this time.
Then the song selection came out and it was the legendary Linden Lea.

This was the same song, some of us knew but couldn't perform because we (my set - '06 -'12) were newbie Choristers - it wasn't our song, it was our senior's song. Only two of us made it to the main stage.
And now here's the song right there on our last chance out to win it. We savoured the song long enough till it dropped on our laps, there was no other outcome. Then I was in Bass, puberty had done a job on my voice. Here's the song...
After our performance, we came down that stage with a conviction that we had laid the competition to bed - I think everyone in the MUSON Centre felt the same way. We were the last to go up (I remember)

Only regrets I have was not taking enough pictures and videos. Great times ❀
