what& #39;s important to understand is this is about Vit D deficiencies, which surprisingly, is higher in POC & senior communities. I was skeptical of this but didn& #39;t take much to find out this is true. Here& #39;s a 2011 American Diabetes Foundation report: https://spectrum.diabetesjournals.org/content/24/3/148">https://spectrum.diabetesjournals.org/content/2...
going back to 2006, here& #39;s an NIH report entitled Vit D & African Americans.

Vit D needs sunlight to do its work in our bodies hence the issue in sr communities also. Many srs, especially those living in nursing homes, do not get outside on a daily basis nor do they exercise nearly enough, if at all. Many people don& #39;t consume dairy products such as milk.
Vit D actually isn& #39;t a vitamin at all either but I don& #39;t want to confuse anyone. This thread is aimed to be helpful & hopeful to at-risk individuals - as I am also one & also a #Covid19 survivor which I have attributed to a rigorous healthy lifestyle.
Diet & exercise, always!
