Between this, the fact that Beschoff's Fish and Chips is an indirect result of the 1905 Mutiny on the Battleship Potemkin and the invention of the spice bag, we've got all the key ingredients of a social history of Ireland through takeaway food
Anyone interested should watch this. Some incredible stories: one of the families moved to Ireland TWO WEEKS before the Easter Rising! What a welcome.
