Edible invasive Herb in my yard. Garlic Mustard. Has a long history as food and is one of the most nutritious wild edible greens. High in vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids. Usually chopped and added to salads, roots taste similar to horseradish. Can be dried and used for spice.
Garlic Mustard is also known as a medicinal plant. Leaves and stems are antiasthmatic, antiscorbutic, deobstruent, diaphoretic, and vermifuge. Treats bronchitis. Very rich in vitamins A-B-C-E, potassium, calcium, magnesium, selenium, copper, iron and manganese.
