I got one of the first looks inside an Essential Service Workers school site in West Vancouver today. These are emergency sites for children of essential workers namely those in the health care system. But they may give a window into what schools will look like in September.
Our crew at CBC socially distancing and being safe in the field.
Lots of tools to help kids stay “in their bubble.” The hoops are just reminders about the 2M rule. Teachers also use pool noodles during one-on-one instruction as a reminder.
Offices where kids sign in and out look very too. Way more space in this makeshift office in the school’s foyer.
Sanitization stations.
Lots of new signage to remind children of the circumstances we have all been thrust into.
