Gonna share some fun splits from the latest @MorningConsult poll tracking the 2020 race. Here's the first:

@joebiden leads @realDonaldTrump by a 2-to-1 margin (42% to 19%) among those who voted 3rd party in 2016.
Trump leads Biden among voters who backed Obama in 2012 before voting for him in 2016, 72% to 17%.

He also leads Biden among Trump voters who backed a Democrat in the midterms, 50% to 36%.
Biden leads Trump by 19 points among moderates, 51% to 32%.

There's similar erosion among partisans who are closer to the middle of the spectrum:

20% of conservative Democrats are backing Trump vs. 16% of moderate Republicans who say they'll vote for Biden.
Biden leads Trump by 14 points among WSJ readers, by 36 points among WaPo readers and by 42 points among NYT readers.

Trump leads Biden by 24 points, 56% to 32%, among Fox News viewers.
In case you're wondering about the top line for this data, it's:

Biden: 45%
Trump: 32%

Poll conducted May 4-10, among 27,754 registered voters nationwide. Margins of error for the groups cited in this thread range from 1 to 4.
