A thread;

Just saw some hate comments, apparently calling yourself an ''artist'' is a stupid and egoistic thing to do if you don't have an art degree or, if you haven't got any art education. Shaming on new artists is such a toxic thing to do. We all start somewhere.
I was an artist when I was 6 years old, drawing my favorite cartoon characters. And now, I am still an artist, drawing what i like. I do earn money now, but even if I don't, I am still an artist. And every single person who loves drawing and draws, they are amazing artists.
Also the person who wrote those hate comments says, ''Sharing unfinished work'' is lame. Like finish your stuff bruh? That is, toxic as hell. Many of us get motivated by the comments we receive on our WIPs. I myself, love sharing the progress, whether I finish it later or not.
Also they were getting salty about a new artist liking their posts. They said ''So you want ME to notice YOU and follow you back? Don't be stupid you can't even draw properly.'' It's so unreal that someone actually thinks this way. Maybe they just liked your work.
They just wanted to give some love, why would you hate on something like that? I always spam the new artists I find, I like their works, on every social media, and I comment, I sometimes even draw them fanart or send messages about how I love their work.
And I absolutely love that when someone does that to me. I mean, I created something and poeple actually likes it? To a point of spamming likes and comments? Such a blessing! I feel so much more motivated. ---
To any artists or fans reading these, please do spam your love, please continue drawing despite the haters, please share your unfinished work with us, please call yourself an artist, and please, don't let haters stop what you love doing the most. I love you all. You're worthy. ♥
