There may ways to track this ovulation. You can use body temperature (there temperature is high that period)

Cervical mucus(some ladies notice some whitish discharge)

Finally by using this very simple arithmetic

For you to get the safe period , you will track the ovulation and then avoid sexual intercourse 3to4 days before and after it. Others days are safe

These 3to4days before and after ovulation are the fertile period. You can make it 5days and increase the safety to upto 90%

For you to get the ovulation day, your cycle should be regular(it 28, 30) but let it be regular

The first day you started noticing your mensis is day one
