I'm in a great mood today ... but I need to Vent real quick.
I do not like the fact y'all really talk about Depression as if everyone suffering from it is just going through a momentary "Phase".
Y'all do know this is an actual Chemical IMBALANCE in the brain.. right ?

And now I have to take y'all to class real quick :
We have little Messengers in our brain called Neurotransmitters... which are a major contributing factor to how our moods are controlled and regulated.
Serotonin one that regulates our Mood and Memory. It's mostly produced in the intestines & helps with Sleep, Sex & Digestion.

What happens when you produce too little or too much of it ? IMBALANCE.
This imbalance is quite evident bc many people who suffer from Depression also suffer from Insomnia or OVERsleeping, inability to eat or eating too much; as well as Too much or NO sexual activity at all.

THIS is why, even as a Spiritualist, I tell others many physical ailments are linked to mental & emotional health issues. Many people w/ Mood disorders or who are distressed & overwhelmed experience tremendous issues in their stomach.
Yes, this is linked to your Sacral Chakra.

Norepinephrine is both a hormone & neurotransmitter that controls our energy & strength during times of Sudden Distress.. right side Adrenaline. Dopamine regulates the feelings of happiness & accomplishment.. the shit that MOTIVATES a person to get up and take on Daily Tasks.
Can you guess what happens when someone produces too much or too little of either of these ?
