In 2018, MO exported $780million worth of goods to China (state's 3rd-largest trading partner after Canada, $5.6B, & Mexico, $2.6B): https://ustr.gov/map/state-benefits/mo

Drop is partly related to reduced export of soybeans given tariff/trade conflict btw US & China (~1/3 of MO soybeans, the state's largest ag export, used to go to China).
