NASA: April was the warmest on record, globally: +1.16°C above the 1951-1980 normal, ahead of 2016 and 2019.
Between 4 and 9.4°C(!) above normal in the Arctic and Central Russia. Very warm in Europe, North-Africa, Mexico, C-America, W-Australia. Cool in E-US and C-Canada.

The North-Atlantic “cold blob” is clearly visible too. More on that here: https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1029/2019JC015379">https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/1...
Thanks, @GretaThunberg, for your RT!
This news is now spreading like wildfire, as it should.

Such an RT by Greta Thunberg also gives you an insight into the wacko responses she gets. A whole bunch of deniers waiting to give their predictable comments apparently waiting to jump on her (re)tweets. One still sees a cooling trend... But alas: https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/global-temperature/">https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-sig...
By the way, that 1.16°C above the 1951-1980 average means that the April 2020 temperature was around 1.55°C above the pre-industrial April average. So in extremely warm months we’re already seeing that 1.5°C now.
