1. The region : Sinnoh is clearly one of most amazing and unusual region... with an important background. We can find every weathers, bioms, and all different zones, with a huge history (DDP have set up the Pokemon mythology)

There are also mythical places ! Who hasn& #39;t tried to catch Rotom at 00:00 in the Old Chateau ? Who has not been lost in the Mt. Coronet or hasn& #39;t had fun in the distortion world ? And there are also the undergrounds : an amazing idea, not developed enough....

2. Music : Assess a video game, it& #39;s value a range of aspects, and one of the most important is music... it& #39;s the music that make us travel into the game& #39;s universe... And the DDP ones are not bad at all !

3. Pokemon : Was I just assessing a Pokemon game without talk about Pokemon ?
First of all : starters are cool ! their evolution& #39;s types are novel (OK... not fire/fighting...), but their design are also interesting, and their theme, mythes and legends, is wonderful...

The other Pokemon are (all of them) delightful ! Even the birds species ( @starly_official, Staravia and Staraptor) is huge ! I could talk about Luxray, Abomasnow, Garchomp, Lucario, Skuntank (?), ...

Then there are the (under)evolution of previous generation& #39;s pokemon just as Electivire, Magmortar, Mamoswine, Munchlax, Happiny, Gallade, Gliscor, ... an all range of fresh and qualitative monsters !

Now let& #39;s talk about serious things : legendaries ! With the creator gods, Arceus and Bidoof, their story, there is something... but are added Dialga, Giratina (and Palkia sadly), and a bunch of minor gods and mythical Pokemon :

the lake guardians (Azelf > all), Darkrai, Cresselia, Regigigas (Unpronounceable), Rotom, ... And everyone has its own role and background !

4. Story : the progression is the same as in the other games, and the players is quite guided, and he has little choice (just remember of the yellow jacket Psyduck)... But there are differences with other opus...

For instance, many trainers join you during your travel, just as Cheryl.

In addition, the baddies are badass, and tough to defeat !
The scene at the Spear Pillar was epic, just after the laborious hiking in Mt. Coronet...

The major part of the characters is also cool ! Even if you can& #39;t remember of the Elite Four members, the master... Cynthia is just the most charismatic master of all time !
There are also outstanding gym leaders : Crasher Wake, Fantina (the missing one) and Volkner the blased...

The post game gameplay is also rich : a new archipelago to discover, the battler frontier, your manor to decorate (in Platinum), ...

I could talk about this during an all life ! There are also marvelous other games in the 4G : mystery dungeons, HG/SS, Pokemon Ranger 2 and 3 !
