Sen. Nasheed, a black Dem, asks Sen. Hoskins what's wrong with him. She says if the simple amendment isn't on the bill, the whole bill is going down in flames. #moleg
After pointing out that COVID-19 has disportionately affected black people in the state and the country, Sen. May withdrew her amendment. #moleg
Sen. Karla May has offered the amendment again.

Sen. Bob Onder, a white Republican and doctor, said he's supportive of the amendment. Says that 10,000s of people die waiting for a kidney, heart, lung, liver. #moleg
Sen. Hoskins has offered an amendment to make August the Organ Donor Awareness Month.
He says he offered the amendment so everyone can be included and participate if they want. #moleg
Sen. Nasheed ended up supporting to Sen. Hoskins amendment, which failed on a voice vote.
Sen. Karla May's amendment is adopted. On to the next amendment.
