I haven& #39;t really watched this show in ten years, I was obsessed with it when I was a teenager, but I can still feel the weird dissonance between the essence of the show and the standard Adult Swim humour and cadence

yeah I forgot the pilot was this prurient, all the sex worker jokes and the technological fetishist thing. Some stuff hints at later greatness but nothing to indicate it& #39;ll be better than like...Perfect Hair Forever or Assy McGee or something.
