I am back at the Capitol in Richmond Virginia. Reopen protest is happening. I am on the ground.

There is about 4 Capitol police at the entrance at 10th and Bank. Perhaps to prevent an unpermitted rally of 10 or more people.

Making a guess with just my eyeballs, I would say that the April 22nd Reopen Virginia Protest had over 500 cars with 100 in the ground. The second on May 6th had about 50 cars with 20 on the ground. So far 4 cars and 3 on the ground.

The cars are spaced out. Not honking their horns. A much more reserved version of in the past. Not sure if it is going to pick up by 2 when the governor gives his press conference in the building behind me.

There is always someone playing Twister Sister at these things too.

This camera crew is going up to cars and asking them questions. They seem to be attempting to disprove Reopen talking points.

There's about 10 reopen protesters away from the governor. They are outside the legislature's building which is empty because the session is out.

There seems to be at least 2 officers at every entrance but I am walking around with nobody stopping me while in my Hawaiian shirt.

It's 2 o'clock, the governor's press conference is starting. This is what is passing thru. At this point it is safe to say that this reopen protest has greatly diminished.

I heard the same car playing twister sister pass me twice more. Everytime they are playing the same song. As far as I can tell, they have been playing that same song for an hour and a half by now.

Meanwhile on Confederate Facebook. The founder of the group page for Reopen Virginia is not happy with the turnout.
