35 years ago today, 500 cops sieged the home of the back-to-nature group MOVE in Philadelphia. They used fire hoses, gas, 10,000 bullets, and finally dropped a bomb that started a fire. The police let the fire burn, killing 11 people, including 5 children.

Too few people even know about the MOVE bombing, I credit my knowledge of it to the hardcore anarchist punk bands I listened to growing up.
