Hey, I know that times are tough, and things are pretty bad right now. I know it can be hard to see anything but the terribleness of it all.

But I need you to do something.

Take 2 minutes, and only think about the good things in your life, no matter how trivial.
Set a timer on your phone, and just think about the good stuff.

It's only 2 minutes, and I'm sure there is something good, or something you are thankful for.
It could be that perfect PB&J you made for lunch, or how much you love that hoodie you have been wearing for four days straight.

It could be the way your dog looks at you when you scratch their head.
It could be the color of the sky at twilight or the smell of your favorite shampoo.

But think about something good, or several good somethings, for just two minutes today.
This won't fix everything, and it won't make the entire world better, but it just might make *your* world feel a little better.

And that is a small step in the right direction. That is progress.

And it only took 2 minutes.
