When we decided in March of 2016 to start this little project called Northern Chicken, we really wanted to focus on staff happiness and support, it was an attempt to make the hospitality industry a little easier, a little nicer, a little fairer.

Nothing has changed. We still strongly believe in these principles, and still strongly believe that our staff is our family, our strongest asset, and our greatest responsibility.

Due to this, we will not be reopening for dining service on Thursday. We will continue the model

That we have been working with for the last two months, great food, great service, amazing beer and packaged drinks.

We ain't changing shit till we see what the world does, how people handle this, and how we can ensure that our staff and customers remain safe.

We strongly believe in people over profits, and as much as we'd love to have you in the shop, listening to great music and having fun. It's just not worth the risk.

We'll keep you in the loop for when we will consider it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
