Ragnar has expanded his options greatly now that he is more recovered from his illness and able to stand on his own two feet. He's now travelling on his own and picked up jobs inspired by Sig, mostly magic related jobs.
Sig and Ragnar have very different styles.

When healing, Sig is very aggressive with his DPS and focuses on optimizing and reducing overheal as much as possible.

Ragnar is more careful and focuses on keeping his allies healthy and topped off before engaging in DPS.
Sig is very focused when DPSing and if able, will always support his allies and friends over trying to be the top DPS, very much a team player.

Ragnar expands on this by focusing on the team first, to the point of being willing to take hits for others, prioritizing them first.
As a tank, again, Sig is very optimization focused and tries to do as much DPS as he can while still keeping aggro, following mechanics to the letter and reacting with cooldowns appropriately.

Ragnar is a little sloppy at the DPS part but will ensure he has aggro at all times.
All in all, Ragnar tries his best to learn from Sig's example while still being himself and putting his own twist on things without failing to adhere to the ideas of the role he's playing.

He's grown to really enjoy healing because he feels connected to Sig this way.
From sad, lonely and sickly boy to a self-sufficient adventurer, like he's always wanted. He's a happy boy now. He's still cursed, but he's slowly recovering and able to do things on his own without leaning on his new family for support in every aspect. I love him. <3
as mentioned by a friend I showed this thread: the terminology used would definitely NOT be understood by the actual characters in-character, but it's basically explained in the way they work
