White car for sure. Everyone in the replies mentions white car's failure to check their side mirror. Have they not heard of a blind spot? Side mirror isn't enough. I've noticed that almost no one turns their head though. Most people only use mirrors. I've definitely avoided accidents by turning my head and looking with my eyes. If you are maintaining safe distance from cars in front of you it's not unsafe to do.

Now that new cars have sensors to detect cars in the neighboring lane I know I'm going to look like an anachronism when I turn my head but old habits die hard.
