I’ll keep adding resources, books, articles, etc. I’ve literally made it SO easy to start educating yourself. White folks, it’s on us to educate ourselves & fight for justice. You just have to DO the work. It’s a journey & you’ll never fully “reach” an end in your lifetime (1)
But, it’s worth it & necessary. Before you can “pass the mic”, advocate for others, be an anti-racist educator, teach your children, anything like that, you have to do the work within yourself. Like I said, my DMs are always open.
An article with good resources: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ariannarebolini/must-read-books-about-white-supremacy-in-the-us
Another great article of anti-racist books (from @DrIbram): https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/29/books/review/antiracist-reading-list-ibram-x-kendi.html
An anti-racism resource collection from Resource Sharing Project: http://www.resourcesharingproject.org/anti-racism-resource-collection

If you’re feeling overwhelmed & want to know where to *start* with educating yourself on justice issues & anti-racism, these books are a great stepping stone. (pic by Jane Mount from @idealbookshelf on insta)
Are you an ally, accomplice, or co-conspirator? I’m trying to move from ally to co-conspirator, but it takes WORK & EFFORT. Check out @MsPackyetti’s post on insta for more info.
