i got 0 merch when i graduated. 3 months after, I got a job. that was the very first time that I bought an album of sj. I didnât want to ask my parents for money just to buy my âwantsâ so I worked hard for it. I learned that when I canât afford something, I shouldnât force it.
remember that needs is the priority. it doesnât make u less of a fan if you wonât spend money for sj.
im blessed bec i can afford to buy things but i really appreciate people who choses not to spend a cent for them because they have priorities. well done, mate.
not all fans spend money for their oppa bec of âmaybe they will love me or notice me tooâ some fans do it because they wanted to support them. as somebody pointed out, business is business. if thereâs high demand, then thereâs high supply. more profit = more sj projects
fans who are not able to buy such paid things also plays a big role in this fandom. their love & intention & support are on the same level as those who can afford it. superiority should be invalidated bec all of us are âfansâ on the same level, just different means.
to those who are having a hard time recently bec of financial concerns, hey, take it easy. sj/sm really releases TONS of merch, donât be sad bec you canât get all of it. time will come that you will be able to fulfill these kind of desires. whatâs important is youâre there w/ SJ
whenever I get my salary, Iâll sort it. savings/expenses/treat to my parents/others (cont..)
... others = wants, whatever extra i have, im gonna spend it. most of the times it goes to either skincare, cheesecake&coffee or sj. we all have strong urge to buy merch bec itâs soothing to our eyes but not all the time itâs necessary and IT IS OKAY
I didnât even know why I made a thread about this but the take away is,, be contented w/ what you have and what you can do. If you can buy it now, good for u & enjoy it well! If you canât, there will always be a next time & pls do cheer up!!
