At this point I think it is up to us as retailers to explain to customers why they can buy that Intsy-Weenie-Teeny-Weenie-Yellow-Polka-Dot-Bikini in Winter & during a pandemic that has experts around the world stumped & bodies piling up. Stop bothering Gov for silly explanations
There is a need for clarity and there is mischief. A lot of what is on the TL right now is mischievous and undermining the DTI. That time the DTI worked out these regulations hand-in-hand with the textile & retail sector. So if anything seems arb in that list, then tough 🤷🏽‍♀️
Clothes don't make themselves, don't distribute themselves, don't sell themselves. So if you as a customer at this time of Covid19 want to buy everything on offer in a store. It means everyone must be on standby to replenish every category of clothing in a store...
That is multiple production lines, even if they are all working at 25% capacity it means a lot more factories, DC staff etc need to be at work. Just know that behind every purchase in a store is a looong production chain, made up of people. People we should be trying to keep safe
