Haven't done #Coronavirus update in a while, but since we now have economic openings, worth looking at a couple of states.

First...Georgia. Kemp took a lot of heat (including from me), but so far, Georgia does not appear to have a surge. I'd still wait another week to be sure.
South Carolina was similar, but if anything, has seen a slight drop.
South Dakota is more worrisome. Clearly they had a surge because of epidemics in certain plants, but they are overall seeing a steady increase, that is problematic.
The next few states opened up this month, and so the findings are probably too early to tell, but just worth getting a baseline.

First Florida.

If anything, seeing a decrease here.
Next, Oklahoma...
Michigan...
And, Ohio.
Overall, so far opening up the economy has not shown any predicted surge.

Caveats:
1. May be WAY too early. Probably need at least 3 weeks.
2. Are we testing enough in all of these states?
3. Nursing homes are still the driving factor.
"Florida’s new cases have actually declined by 14%, and Georgia’s fell by 12%.
Nevada leads the pack with a 44% reduction, while several hard-hit states that embraced aggressive lockdowns to help contain early outbreaks — MI, NY, NJ — all saw reductions of at least 30%."
