Missing the cashier at my local corner shop who hypes me up but always gets it slightly wrong.
Her: Oh you're dead impressive aren't you? A real artist!
Me: Well I'm a writer but-
Her: You design games don't you?!
Me: Ha kinda. I design the stories

Her: I told my Grandson about you
Me: oh I-
Her: He wants to get into graphic design too!
Her: I made a poster for my Grandsons party. I really could've used your help. You know, since you're an artist!
Me: I mean, oh... Kinda

I love her so much. Always makes my day.
When the pandemic is over, I promise to go see her and get a selfie with her. I know she'd be well up for it haha.
