The initial idea will in most cases come form the eFounders team. An idea for us typically means (1) a pain point we want to solve and (2) a first wireframe of the initial MVP

Every month ~100 entrepreneurs reach out to us. The aim of our partnering process is to get to know one another and assess the possibility of working together in the long run
There& #39;s no typical founder profile within eFounders. But we try to understand each profile across four key dimensions: entrepreneurial mindset, analytical skills, communication skills and Web/SaaS industry expertisehttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ" title="Spider web" aria-label="Emoji: Spider web">
When we have the founding team -typically made of two co-founders: a business and tech profile - we spend 12-18 months in the same office to transform the idea into an early companyhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿš€" title="Rocket" aria-label="Emoji: Rocket">
https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿค" title="Handshake" aria-label="Emoji: Handshake">During this phase, the eFounders core team is fully hands-on alongside the founding team, working on product, design, strategy, go-to-market, recruiting, funding etc. Our goal is to make the startup autonomous. We build independent companies

Founders are in the driver seat, they build their own company, and eFounders is dedicated to providing as much help as it can along the way!
Once the startup has enough traction with pitch early stage investors to raise a Seed round. The fundraising enables the studio to become fully independent, it takes off from the studio and moves into its own office https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿ‘‹" title="Waving hand" aria-label="Emoji: Waving hand">
eFounders remains a key shareholder and continues to help the founders and the team on strategy, funding & operations. We generally stay very close to the company, we maintain strong relationships with the founders and know the business very wellhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿ“ˆ" title="Chart with upwards trend" aria-label="Emoji: Chart with upwards trend">
The success rate? It& #39;s difficult to assess - but so far our failure rate has been pretty low. We had to stop around 3 projects, which didn& #39;t get the initial traction. Out of 25 projects launched, it remains fairly low. And none of the companies we incorporated have had to stophttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="๐Ÿคฉ" title="Star-struck" aria-label="Emoji: Star-struck">

Initial equity is evenly split across the founders (eFounders being one of them). And all the pre-seed phase is funded by eFounders, who gets investor shares in return. So just before the first external funding round, the founding team owns the majority of equity
