i’m gonna make this a thread of all the times chuck has comforted/shown concern for blair: starting with 1x03 when he checks up on her after she finds out about eric. this entire episode he helps her with serena, free of cost.

chuck buying her the erickson beamon necklace (something that she put on hold even though she knew her mother and nate didn’t pay enough attention to her to know what she wanted) despite her uninviting him, pulling his hair, and laughing in his face when he told her he liked her.

even after blair rejects him for nate, chuck proves that he’s willing to be there for her pregnancy and help take care of the baby, even though it means extreme lifestyle changes and losing his ONLY best friend, the only person to show him any affection and care.

in 1x17, even when their relationship was on the rocks, blair knew chuck would come running if she needed help, and he DOES - disproving everything he said in 1x13 about her not “having” him anymore.

for those who struggle with comprehension, the point of this thread is to point out how despite his mistakes, chuck definitely cared for and was willing to sacrifice for blair, even though this occurred at a time when they disliked each other.
