Today’s ruling is a stain on #Kyrgyzstan’s rights record, on its claims to having an independent judiciary and to upholding the rule of law. The UN Human Rights Committee decision was unequivocal – quash Askarov’s conviction and release Askarov immediately. #FreeAskarov
