Let me explain the steps to you.
From when you are pregnant and you register in the clinic/hospital, they start preparing you for info about the baby and the delivery as the pregnancy progresses.
At 2months, they tell you if it is twins or not. They also tell you delivery date.

By 4-5 months, they check the gender of the baby for you- if you are interested. The scan can say it easily.
