i want to have more sympathy for abled people who are upset about isolation. but i find it difficult because they don't care about us. many of us were isolated before this. many of us are more isolated now, and probably will be for years.

for me it's been most of a decade. and abled people never gave a fuck until now when they get a glimpse of a fraction of it, briefly and in a limited way and collectively so they're all in it together.

it's not even "you don't care about me so i won't care about you." i don't subscribe to that view.

it's literally "abled people are the REASON i am always isolated. they are the ones building a society to keep me out."

so no, i don't really feel sorry for my oppressors.
