The bombing killed 11 people. 6 adults, including John Africa, and 5 children. The only surviving adult was Ramona Africa.

Seven of the incarcerated members, Chuck, Delbert, Eddie, Janet, Janine, Merle, Michael, Phil, and Debbie Africa have been released. In 1998, at age 47, Merle Africa transitioned in prison and in 2015 Phil Africa transitioned while still in prison.
