The Muslim Rule in India robbed off India from some of its most precious treasures in terms of temples and knowledge centres.

Bhojsala which is considered as the ancient temple of Maa Saraswati

And a school where Sanskrit was taught built by Raja Bhoj in the 1034 AD as he is devotee of Maa Saraswati situated in Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh.

It is one of the temple which is destroyed several times by uncultured vultures .

The black dates in history of this temple are:

•1305 : Allauddin Khilji attacked on Bhojsala and killed many hindus because they refused to accept islam.

•1401: Vijay Mandir or Surya Martand Temple was destroyed by another cruel vulture and tried to convert it into a Dargah. Nowadays muslims offer namaz here.

•1456: This time it is destroyed by Mehmudshah Khalji who converted it into DARGAH by intruding inti the land outside the SARASWATI TEMPLE . And was built as the KAMAL MOULANA MASJID after 204 years of death of KAMAL MOULANA.

According to some historians, the idiol of vagdevi which is found in the 1875 has been kept in a museum of London

Now the controversy is taken place between the hindus & muslims questioning where it stands as Temple or a Dargah .

The carvings which is found on the pillars of the temple are prohibited in Islam then how it stands as the dargah ; may be for that so called secularism.

• 1909: the state of Dhar, implementing the Asian Monument Act of 1904, declared Bhojshala as a protected monument.

• The Bhojshala was later subordinated to the Department of Archeology. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has the responsibility of overseeing it.

•The state of Dhar had given permission to offer Namaz on Friday in the campus in 1935.
