Earlier I read some of the usual rabid tweets from atheists against religion. Notable was some criticism coming from people with Middle Eastern names. Wow, for starters the blaring incongruousness of being outraged by an Greek Orthodox priest .....Thread.......

Immersing rather violently an infant in water. As a Christian I do not subscribe to such practice (Catholicism and Greek/Russian Orthodoxy not the same as true Christianity). I just find it amusing that nobody, and I mean, nobody, is outraged anymore by........

Fundamentalists from i.e. Islam running amok and decapitating people while live streaming and cough, cough, Arminian genocide, cough, cough by Turkey, for example. So I'm leaving this graphic here and not leaving. Think religion kills? Think twice!

My family came from Lebanon where, as Christians, they were persecuted by the Muslims in charge. They ran for their lives, pretty much with only the clothes on their backs. Some traveled to Mexico, some to Brazil and some to Argentina. The ones in Mexico did really well.....

I proudly descend from those Lebanese Christians who escaped tyranny. I married and American and now I am not only a proud Mexican-Lebanese that has worked hard all her life to make something of herself, but I am also a proud citizen of this beautiful United States of America

Where we value freedom, of speech and worship both. I don't hate Muslims, I don't hate Atheists. I do hate their occasional hypocrisy, though. And yes, Christians are hypocritical too on multiple occasions. Let's all try to think and act with more congruity with our beliefs.
