on todays ep of my dad:

he asked me to help him w his renovation project and i said idk when i will have time and he was like well that makes it difficult for me to plan then i shouldve called your mom here and i was like yeah and he was like but that would cost a lot of gas money +

and i didnt vibe with his accusatory tone and the way he acts so entitled and like im taking money from him and ruining his schedule so i wanted to remind him this is HIS project in HIS house (something he likes to make very clear) +

so i said something along the lines of 'dont forget i have things to do if i had time and wanted to spend it on projects like these i would start them myself' +

whereupon he looks at me like im disgustingdjdnsk and goes 'mhm bc its more important to make memes and draw figures i see maybe thats part of the diagnosis' and im like DIAGNOSIS? D- +

for context: ive told him im considering checking if i have something along the lines of adhd, so far I HAVE NO DIAGNOSIS, but i guess mentioning it is enough for him to be an asshole about it! +
