Just after 09:15 on 8 May 2020. It's a Bank Holiday as the UK and other countries get ready to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Outside King's Cross station, instead of crowds of passengers heading off for a long weekend, all is quiet. #SilentCity
Inside King's Cross station, peace returns after a train leaves.
No last-minute dashes from the Tube to catch a train north out of King's Cross. #SilentCity #StreetPhotgraphy
Nobody waiting for a bus.
Normally this crossing is heaving with people excited at the prospect of a journey from St Pancras to one of Europe's great cities. The lights are green but there's nobody around.
